This week we’ve tracked all the early money flowing into markets at both major venues.
That activity has generated strong price movement and highlighted several significant market movers worth following.
At Caulfield, a Chris Waller runner for a well-connected ownership group has attracted notable early support.
Meanwhile at Rosehill, the O’Shea/Charlton camp appear to have unearthed a genuine Group-class horse.
Caulfield Tips

Magnaspin
A genuine galloper with tactical speed, allowing him to position wherever the rider desires. A huge asset around the tight Caulfield circuit.
He was excellent leading at Flemington last start over the same 2000m, sticking on bravely after setting the tempo.
Rock-hard fit now, he looks the likely leader again and with limited pressure expected, may get things his own way before kicking strongly at the 200m.
Tazima
An intriguing Waller runner who the stable has elected to campaign in Melbourne.
The ownership group includes several close associates of the stable, and Waller will be highly motivated to place this horse well and deliver a result.
Early market support suggests confidence is high, and it appears connections have been encouraged to have a solid wager.
Stylish Secret
Ran well here last start, finishing third of eight after being buried along the rail and never fully seeing clear galloping room.
Fitter now and drawn ideally in barrier 2, expect a more positive ride.
With improved positioning, he shapes as one of the big improvers in the race.
Lady Of Five
Queensland two-year-old who must be flying at home to attract this level of early market support.
She brings race fitness and experience into this, with two solid runs already under her belt, a factor the market is clearly rewarding.
The stable wouldn’t make the trip unless confident she’s highly competitive.
Expect her to be fighting out the finish.
Rosehill Tips

Cross Tasman
There’s been a strong spruik from the O’Shea/Charlton camp, who believe this galloper is genuine Group class.
On exposed form, that hype looks justified. A hat-trick of wins this preparation suggests he’s well above average.
In a small field lacking depth, he looks impeccably placed and is expected to continue his winning run. Yes.
Eye Of The Fire
Has enjoyed a very good preparation so far, winning first-up and then narrowly missing last start when second over 1100m.
The rise to 1200m looks ideal after he closed strongly last time but simply ran out of track.
With added fitness and a soft draw (barrier 5), expect him to settle closer and be in a prime position throughout.
Willaidow
The booking of James McDonald is a strong signal. When this stable has one ready, he’s their first call.
While the jockey’s recent Sydney strike-rate hasn’t been at peak levels, he’s renowned for delivering when the money goes on.
The horse has been clearly set for a first-up tilt (5:2-1-0), and any late market support should be taken very seriously.
Sequista
Won well at Wyong last start after being heavily backed late ($3.50 into $2.70), storming home from the tail.
She’s had an excellent preparation, winning two of four starts and placing in the other two.
The stable love a bet, and the money trail suggests they have again been keen to be involved.
