Brad Davidson heads to Eagle Farm with a runner that looks ready to break through after competing in stronger races and returning with a strong trial leading into this assignment.

With conditions expected to suit and a race that lacks significant depth, his focus is on a horse that maps to get every opportunity to produce his best fresh.

Brad Davidson – Eagle Farm Wednesday Best Bet 6/5/26

Race 2 – #9 Pyrolysis

Pyrolysis looks very hard to beat here and appears ready to return in winning fashion.

His last run before a spell had plenty of merit when caught wide without cover at Wagga, a run that was far tougher than it reads on paper.

Despite the difficult trip, he still stuck on well and showed enough to suggest a win was not far away before heading to the paddock.

He has since trialled strongly leading into this return, indicating he has come back in excellent order and should be ready to fire fresh.

From the map, he should get a much kinder run in transit this time around and if he reproduces the level he showed prior to the break, he looks the horse they all have to beat.
