Race 2 – #8 Brillantezza

Brillantezza made a very strong impression on debut and Davidson believes there could be plenty more to come from the lightly raced filly.

She showed a sharp turn of foot when asked to extend first-up and, most importantly, powered through the line in a manner that suggested she is going to relish getting over more ground as her career progresses.

This is clearly a tougher assignment stepping sharply in class, but Davidson feels she profiles as a promising staying type in the making and the bigger Flemington circuit should suit her perfectly.

At the odds, Davo believes she represents an appealing value play against some more exposed runners.
