Best Bet
Race 5 – No.1 SALTY PEARL
(Rated $2.50 | Confidence: Medium–Low)
Produced a very encouraging return when finishing runner-up to Sheza Alibi, covering significantly more ground than the winner throughout the race.
There looks to be good early pressure engaged here which could force Sass Appeal to work harder in the run compared to last start.
If the tempo evens out, Salty Pearl should be able to settle into a comfortable rhythm before unleashing late.
With the benefit of that strong first-up performance and a race shape likely to suit, she profiles as the one finishing strongest.
Next Best
Race 8 – No.11 AHHA AHHA
(Rated $4.50 | Confidence: Medium–Low)
Has been runner-up at her past three starts but continues to race extremely well.
Her latest effort behind Astral Flame was particularly encouraging, hitting the line strongly in a race that rated well overall.
The margin back to third was significant which adds further confidence to the strength of the form.
From a favourable barrier she should be able to settle in a good position throughout and looks well placed to again be fighting out the finish.
