Decalogue has been one of the form horses of the winter and looks capable of extending his winning sequence.

He comes into this race chasing a fourth consecutive victory, with each win highlighting his toughness and ability to sustain a long run.

Two starts ago he worked early in the race before still powering away late, while his most recent victory was dominant over 2000 metres and confirmed he's thriving this preparation.

He's racing with enormous confidence, handles the conditions and looks the horse they all have to beat.

Race 4 – #5 Brilliant Horizon

Brilliant Horizon appeals as one of the better value plays on the program.

She couldn't have been more impressive winning first-up after doing plenty of work in the run before putting her rivals away with authority.

Her latest defeat is easy to forgive after failing to recover on a wet track, the first time she hasn't handled rain-affected ground.

She now gets the opportunity to turn the tables on Cavalry Girl from their clash last December, with the drop back to 1100 metres, a significant 6kg weight swing and another soft track all working in her favour.

At double-figure odds, Gately believes she's well worth an each-way investment.
