Caulfield Heath stages an intriguing meeting with the track rated GOOD.
The rail is set at 6 metres from the 1600m to the 1050m and True the remainder.
At the previous meeting with the rail at 4m, there was no discernible bias and horses were given every chance across the track.
Conditions again look fair, placing the onus on form, timing and race shape.

Bet of the Day
Caulfield – Race 7 #1 JOB DONE
Job Done made a powerful statement fresh on dry ground, charging home with a strong 33.9 last 600m to beat Cavalry Girl, with a clear margin back to third in fast time.
Importantly, he held Espana safely behind him, a filly who has since measured up against quality opposition.
This is his first run second-up over 1100m, but the data says he has the sharpness to handle it.
With fitness improvement and proven speed late, he looks very well placed.
Best Value Bet
Caulfield – Race 3 #10 CACHINK
Cachink was backed early fresh and stuck on well when beaten, with that runner-up subsequently winning impressively.
He has a strong second-up profile, having beaten all bar a smart one at this stage last preparation and also winning second-up prior to that.
The early market around $8 looks generous for a runner with upside and reliable form lines.
