King Of The Sea looks ready to win.

His Australian debut was full of merit, producing some of the best closing sectionals of the entire meeting despite racing in the inferior section of the track.

He then backed that up at Gosford where he was forced to cover extra ground throughout but still attacked the line strongly late.

Everything about his recent runs suggests he is building towards a peak performance and the setup here looks ideal for him to finally break through.

Randwick Race 6 – #6 Bravissima

Bravissima profiles as a very dangerous roughie second-up.

She resumed here without quickening initially, but once balanced up over the final stages she produced the fastest late splits of the race and really charged through the line over the final 100m.

Her second-up profile is outstanding having won three of four previously in that stage of a campaign, and with natural improvement off the fresh run she looks capable of surprising at big odds.

Gately believes she is over the odds in a race that may set up perfectly for her late closing style.
