David Gately has two promising runners to follow at Rosehill on Saturday, with Satono Glow the standout after producing an outstanding performance against another talented filly at Flemington.

Satono Glow gets a significant weight advantage this time, while Piedmont looks a strong each-way chance after making good ground against the pattern in the Ming Dynasty.

Rosehill is rated in the Good/Soft range, although race-day showers and possible thunderstorms make conditions difficult to predict.

Forecast rainfall ranges from 1mm to 10mm, so the final track rating could prove important.

The rail moves out to 2m after racing in the True position last meeting, when the track played fairly and runners were able to make ground along the inside.

David Gately's full Saturday package is now live for punters below.

David Gately’s Rosehill Saturday Best Bets 10/10/26

Bet of the Day – Race 6 #14 Satono Glow

Satono Glow is a very good filly with an outstanding profile heading into this assignment.

Her latest performance at Flemington was particularly impressive.

She conceded 2.5kg to another smart filly and still proved too strong, with the race producing faster overall time than the boys' contest won by Paradoxium.

That is a serious form reference.

She now drops 4kg, giving her another significant advantage as she looks to continue her progression.

There's also a strong argument that she should still be unbeaten, such has been the quality of her performances.

Satono Glow goes clearly on top and looks the one to beat.

Best Each-Way – Race 5 #10 Piedmont – $7

Piedmont looks a promising galloper who can improve sharply with a more favourable setup.

He won his maiden impressively two starts ago before stepping into the Ming Dynasty Stakes, where things didn't go to plan.

After drawing wide, he was forced to settle a long way back before making his run around the outside, against the prevailing track pattern.

Despite those disadvantages, he still finished strongly and was right on the heels of Tennenbaum, who subsequently produced a huge performance in a very fast Group 1 Golden Rose.

That form has been well and truly franked.

Piedmont now draws better and should have the opportunity to settle closer rather than conceding such a significant start.

At around $7, he looks a very appealing each-way bet.
