With extreme heat forcing Sydney’s Saturday meeting back 24 hours, we head to Rosehill on Sunday where conditions should settle into a genuine Good track.

The rail moves to the 4m position, and the course played superbly last weekend with horses able to win both on speed and running on.

Expect another fair racing surface, with tempo and tactics deciding results rather than track bias.

Bet of the Day – Race 6 No.7 CREPE MYRTLE $3.00

Crepe Myrtle continues to raise the bar this preparation.

She chased home Lyles, before sitting four-wide second-up and still winning, smashing the track record in the process.

Last start she reeled in Swordplay despite giving him 5.5kg and Swordplay has since come out and won easily midweek.

Everything about her progression says she’s still climbing and she lands in another highly suitable set-up at Rosehill.

Hard to beat again.

Best Each-Way – Race 7 No.13 BELLA CORAZON $4.80

Bella Corazon produced the best closing sectionals fresh at Kembla in a race dominated by on-pace runners, a sure sign she’s come back well.

She won second-up last prep at Hawkesbury over 1300m on a dry deck, and she maps to settle closer from the soft draw this time.

At an each-way price, she’s a live chance to launch late.
