Best Bet – Race 7 #5 Cosmic Crusader

Cosmic Crusader is in outstanding form after successive Caulfield wins before an unlucky third behind Beiwacht in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes.

Willie Pike couldn't find a position from the draw that day and was forced to go back and cover ground. With Beiwacht setting a fast tempo in front, the task of running him down was always going to be difficult.
