Flemington Race 7 – #15 Zakouma

Zakouma is a horse clearly trending in the right direction and there is no reason to jump off him now.

He has been building an impressive record this preparation and looks set to make it four straight wins, with this race mapping ideally for his racing pattern.

There is expected to be good speed engaged, which should allow him to settle in the back half of the field and build into the race late.

By the time Race 7 comes around, the Flemington track typically begins to favour runners getting off the speed, particularly those able to produce a strong sprint down the long straight.

That profile suits Zakouma perfectly.
