King Zephyr is shaping as a potential topliner, boasting two wins from as many starts at this track.

He didn’t handle the Moonee Valley turn when resuming but still looked poised to figure before being overrun by the powerful finish of La Fracas. Hardly a disgrace against such a quality rival.
