Race 4 – #6 Koolibah $4.20

Koolibah produced a better run than the result suggests last start, settling 6.5 lengths off the leader before flying home late.

She strips fitter from that performance and steps to the mile in a very winnable race. The setup should also allow her to settle closer, giving her less ground to make up when the pressure goes on.

Her sixth behind King Of The Sea at Gosford showed the ability is there, and she will ultimately be even better as she continues to rise in distance.

Koolibah can win here and is a horse worth following as she progresses through the grades this preparation.

Race 7 – #10 Agartha $3.60

Agartha made strong late ground in a harder race last start and would have finished considerably closer with a cleaner passage.

Everything sets up better this time.

She drops in grade, draws favourably and gains Tommy Berry, giving her the opportunity to settle in the right position and get clear running when it matters.

She's ready to produce a career-best performance and has the class to prove too good for this field.
