Mick Gannon lines up midweek with a couple of well-placed runners coming through strong form races, both mapping to get the right runs and take advantage of a drop in class.
He also has reviewed the Saturday meeting at Randwick for All Aged Stakes Day for punters with a few horses to throw into your blackbook.
All this information and benefits are avaliable in his premium package which you can grab below.
Mick Gannon – Wednesday Racing Tips & Blackbookers
Wednesday Tips
Race 1 – #3 Decalogue
Decalogue looks the horse to beat dropping back in grade. His last start fourth in the Tulloch Stakes is strong form for a race like this and he now meets a much more suitable field.
There is a slight knock that he is still a maiden, but that is offset by the quality of opposition he faced last time. From a soft draw, he should settle on speed and give a strong kick in the straight.
Race 3 – #1 Graffiti Tycoon
Graffiti Tycoon showed plenty on debut at Warwick Farm despite doing things the hard way. He was forced into a long run well before the turn and that effort told late.
With that experience behind him, he maps to get a much softer run here and should be able to settle closer from the draw. With natural improvement and a more economical run, he looks well placed to break through.
Main danger appears to be Loera.
Blackbookers to Follow from Randwick 18/4/26
This was a meeting where track pattern played a big role, favouring runners closer to the inside in transit.
Because of that, several horses that raced against the pattern can be forgiven and upgraded significantly.
These are the runners to follow next start:
Race 1 – Unique Ambition, Pleasure Artist
Race 3 – Our Queen
Race 4 – Blue Monday
Race 5 – Olympian, Barrengary
Race 9 – Jimmysstar, Briasa, Headley Grange
Summary
Two strong plays midweek with runners dropping in grade and mapping ideally, supported by a blackbook full of horses that can bounce back under fairer conditions.
These are the types of meetings where the value is found at the next start.
