The booking of James McDonald is a significant positive and with his class edge, he looks well placed to outmatch his rivals first-up.

Randwick Race 4 – No.4 SOVEREIGN HILL

Dual accepted but maps far better here and is expected to take his place in this contest.

The son of Written Tycoon was dominant in this grade last start, rolling forward and proving too strong late.

This sets up as a similar scenario.

He can control the race again from the front, and the extra 50 metres should pose no issue.

The jockey change to Hippo is not a concern and he profiles as the one to beat.
