Mick Gannon – Randwick Saturday Tips 18/4/26
Best Bets
Race 5 – #4 Olympian
Olympian looks ideally suited rising to 2000m.
He was the standout closer in the Carbine over the mile and with clear running on straightening, he likely wins that race.
The step up in distance is a clear positive and with Willo remaining aboard, he should land midfield with cover and get every chance to finish over the top.
Race 9 – #14 Beiwacht
Beiwacht looks set to peak in this. His recent runs have been strong without converting, but conditions now look to suit perfectly.
A dry surface and the rail position should allow him to settle into the right part of the track, and the 1400m looks his ideal trip.
With Nash Rawiller aboard, he profiles as a strong value chance who will give a big sight late.
Angel Capital and Jimmysstar look the key dangers and can be included in exotics.
