Randwick hosts another outstanding program of racing this Saturday and Mick Gannon has identified a pair of runners he believes are set up to run very well under the current conditions.

With the autumn carnival building momentum, these races often provide strong form references moving deeper into the season, and Mick has honed in on two gallopers that look well placed based on their recent performances and race setups.

One comes in a feature three-year-old contest where the form lines look particularly strong, while the other looks well positioned to control proceedings from the front in an earlier race on the card.

Mick Gannon – Randwick Tips | Saturday Racing 7/3/26

Randwick Race 8 – #1 Autumn Boy $2.90

Autumn Boy was very impressive first-up when racing against the pattern of the day and only just falling short of Ninja in that performance.

The key difference this time is the barrier and map setup, which should allow him to settle much closer to the speed rather than giving away a start. From that position he looks extremely hard to run down.

Sheza Alibi has been building a strong record, but she has largely had races run to suit.

This assignment gives her the opportunity to prove herself in Group 1 company, however Mick believes she may find one better here.

Randwick Race 3 – #1 Agrarian Girl $2.80

Agrarian Girl caught most by surprise on debut when she won impressively, defeating subsequent winner Spicy Miss with plenty in hand.

The performance was backed up by the clock, with the sectionals confirming what the eye test suggested, and the form from that race has since been franked strongly.

She maps to roll forward and lead again, and with natural improvement from her debut run, she shapes as a runner that will be very hard to beat once more.
