Randwick Feature Race Tips from Mick Gannon

 

Race 1 #12 Starboard $9.00

Produced a career peak last start at Hawkesbury and only needs to replicate that run to be right in the finish here.

Maps to settle forward of midfield and get the right run in transit.

He’ll give a big sight at a generous price.

 

 

Race 8 #2 Briasa $3.50

Briasa was super in taking out the TJ Smith and looked to have more up his sleeve.

Now third-up and at full fitness, he maps to land on-speed and should enjoy every chance to run out the 1400m.

His win in The Hunter over 1300m was full of merit and he looks ready to prove himself again as a star on the rise.

Race 4 #2 Zeitung $6.50

Set to peak now third-up.

Closed off well against the pattern in the PJ Bell and posted the fastest 400-200m split.

The booking of Mark Zahra and a soft draw are big ticks.

He’s ready to strike.

He returned brilliantly at Muswellbrook under a huge weight and looks to have gone to another level this prep.
