Race 4 – Central Europe $2.30

Lived up to the hype on debut when beaten by the barest of margins.

He was held up until the 200m, before savaging the line and with even luck he likely wins that race comfortably.

He should settle off what looks like a hot tempo here and get every chance to run over the top of his rivals.

With natural improvement at his second career start, he looks capable of going to another level and proving too good for this field.

Race 8 – Verona Rose $8.00

Was exceptional second-up and there is every indication that further improvement is still to come.

The 1500m looks ideal, she retains Craig Williams, and she maps perfectly to sit just off the speed.

She ticks plenty of boxes and looks over the odds given how impressively she won a key lead-up race.
