Race 1 – Written In Mumny $4.60

Written In Mumny has trialled like a horse with genuine ability and, on talent alone, he probably should be favourite.

He does concede race experience to Thyme To Go, who was fair on debut without exactly stopping the clock, but the upside with this colt is obvious.

The one caveat is the track, as he won't want it worse than a Soft 7.

If heavy rain stays away, his class edge should see him very competitive first-up.

Race 3 – Let’s Go Again $6.00

Fourth-up and right at peak fitness, Let’s Go Again looks ideally placed if the track deteriorates as expected.

He’s at his best on rain-affected ground and all signs point to him running a career peak here.

The map is a big tick, he can sit on speed, avoid the worst of the inside late and work into the middle of the track when it matters.
