Race 4 #4 Bertie $6.00
This 4YO gelding charged late to get up in the final few strides last start at Muswellbrook and Kim Waugh has him in great form.
He deserved that victory after a string of consistent placings and potentially found suitable races in the country.
He loves having the cut out of the ground and the Soft track is right up his ally.
Andrew Gibbons rides and from barrier 4 can settle him midfield with cover.
Race 7 #4 Floss's One $4.40
This filly looks primed for another big run at her home track.
She thrives at Taree and is sure to appreciate getting onto a Soft surface.
Regular rider Tegan Worsnop retains the ride and the claim gets her down in the weights to only 56.5kg.
The key here will be getting her to sit a bit closer in the run and if she does, will be hard to hold out over the final 100m.
Warren Best Bets and Tips from Luke Hovhanesian
Race 4 #1 On The Charge $2.00
This gelding races on speed and had every chance on preparation debut at Tamworth.
Off the one trial his fitness gave out over the concluding stages and denied him victory.
Now second up he will strip fitter and draws the perfect barrier to repeat that effort.
Look for him to land outside the speed and be too strong for his rivals.
Race 6 #5 Lostma Cowboy $15.00
This gelding looks great value after drawing the gun draw of barrier 1.
He can sit just behind the leaders here and just needs some space in the straight to finish off hard.
This doesn't look like the strongest of fields and with even luck can salute at a huge price.
