Midweek racing is set on a Good 4 surface with the rail positioned +5m from the 1000m to the winning post and +3m for the remainder of the circuit.
With no dual-track meeting in play, conditions should provide fair racing, although positioning in running may prove important given the rail placement through the home straight.
Mick Gannon has identified two progressive runners who returned in strong order and look capable of going on with it in similar company.

Race 3 – No.3 NAZWAH $1.60
Returned in excellent fashion with a strong first-up victory.
Settling well off the speed, she made very good ground in what was only an evenly run race, recording the second-fastest last 200 metres of the entire meeting.
She draws slightly wide here, but with genuine speed engaged, she should land just behind the leaders and receive every opportunity to produce her finishing burst.
Still lightly raced and progressive, she profiles as a runner whose ceiling has not yet been reached and will be very hard to beat in the same grade.
Race 5 – No.5 DECORUM $1.70
Produced a clear career peak first-up and there is no reason to suggest he cannot repeat that performance stepping out to the mile.
He ran the tenth-fastest final 200 metres of the meeting, indicating improvement still to come.
Drawn barrier one for a soft run in transit, retains Tommy Berry, and finds a highly suitable race.
Like Nazwah, he appears progressive and capable of going to another level.
