Race 2 – #11 Pink Persuasion $2.70

Pink Persuasion made an immediate impression on debut over 1300m in what has turned into an exceptionally strong form race, finishing behind Rosa Incanta and Ernaux.

Second-up at Canterbury she was well backed and settled leader's back and while she only got warm late, her final 100m was superb, clearly the strongest through the line and screaming for further.

Up to 1400m is exactly what she wants and from barrier 3 she maps to land in the first four.

With natural progression and an ideal set-up, she should be very hard to hold out.

Race 6 – #13 Tequila Baby $4.40

Tequila Baby produced a cracking win last start, sitting on speed through a solid tempo before giving a strong kick to put them away.

She does rise in grade here, but the weight drop offsets that, and her map advantage is significant.

She lands right on speed again and looks primed to control the race.

Her main danger is Remember Jack, who was luckless last start and should be charging late, but he’ll be chasing Tequila Baby from a long way back.

A confident two-bet play to close out the card.
