Horse Racing Tips for Warwick Farm 5/10/26

Shayne Montgomery heads to Warwick Farm with a selection in all eight races and two clear standouts through his staking. Verbil in Race 6 and Ice Kool in Race 7 both carry Shayne's highest stake, setting up a strong betting focus late in the meeting.

The most interesting of the pair from a price perspective is Verbil at $6.50.

Despite being the biggest-priced selection on Shayne's entire card, Verbil has been elevated to his highest staking level, making the Race 6 runner a clear value play. Ice Kool at $2.10 carries the same confidence in Race 7 but provides a much shorter-priced option.

There is also some value around the two major bets, with Street Artist at $5 closing out the meeting and Burn The Sky and Fear No Evil both available at better than $3. Shayne's staking, however, makes Races 6 and 7 the clear focal point.

Warwick Farm Horse Racing Tips From Shayne Montgomery – Monday Racing Preview

Best Bet: Race 7 #9 Ice Kool ($2.10)

Ice Kool is one of Shayne's two highest-stake selections and provides the stronger market anchor at $2.10. The Race 7 runner shapes as the best bet on a card where Shayne has saved his strongest staking for late in the afternoon.

Next Best: Race 6 #1 Verbil ($6.50)

Verbil is particularly interesting at $6.50. It is the biggest price among Shayne's eight selections but still carries his highest stake, providing an attractive combination of confidence and price.

Best Value: Race 6 #1 Verbil ($6.50)

There is little doubt where the value sits. Verbil at $6.50 is Shayne's biggest-priced selection and one of only two runners to receive his highest stake. Street Artist at $5 provides another value option in the final race.

Betting Strategy

Shayne's strongest betting window comes late with Verbil and Ice Kool in Races 6 and 7.

Ice Kool provides the shorter-priced anchor at $2.10, while Verbil at $6.50 is the standout value play given it carries the same highest stake.

Street Artist at $5 then provides another value opportunity to finish the Warwick Farm card.
