Race 6 – #4 Spywire $2.35

Spywire delivered a clear career peak first-up in heavy conditions and should only improve off that return.

After spotting his rivals 3.4 lengths at the 400m, he launched between the 400m–200m and then put the race away late, running the fastest last 600m of the entire meeting.

The form has already been franked with runner-up Hawker Hall winning impressively at Rosehill on Saturday.

Now second-up and fitter, Spywire finds a perfect speed map. Expect him to track a hot tempo and pounce when the leaders begin to feel the pinch.

Race 7 – #5 Wittelsbach $3.00
