Really like this horse.

Storm Leopard was fantastic first-up despite the race being run at a slow tempo over a trip that was short of his best.

He now makes the important step up to 1700m, which looks far more suitable and gives him the chance to build into the race.

The wide draw is the obvious hurdle. He just needs an ounce of luck early to slot in without being caught deep and doing unnecessary work.

If he gets that, look for Storm Leopard to be powering home late.
