Race 5 – #6 Decorum

Decorum looks very hard to beat.

He returned as a gelding with an impressive victory, settling well off the speed before producing a sharp turn of foot and powering through the line.

The setup only gets better second-up. He's two from three over the trip and unbeaten second-up, while barrier three gives him every opportunity to find an economical position and get clear running when it matters.

I've marked him $1.60 and he looks the good thing of the day.

Race 8 – #1 Guest House

Guest House was excellent winning the San Domenico.

He carried 58.5kg and was held up until around the 300m before accelerating sharply once clear and putting a good margin on his rivals in record time.

The form has already been franked. He put 2.9 lengths on Warwoven, who has since come out and won at Group 2 level.

Guest House is also two from two at Rosehill, Zac Lloyd sticks from a good draw and he gets every opportunity to run out a strong 1400m.

I've priced him at $2.10, so the $2.60 available represents a good bet.
