Saturday Horse Racing Tips for Morphettville 15/11/25

Racing returns to the Parks circuit at Morphettville, which raced particularly well last week after a short freshen-up.

With the rail out 3 metres and fine weather forecast, we can again expect a fair and even surface where every runner gets their chance.

It looks like a tricky little meeting on paper, but there’s some nice each-way value across the early markets.

Exactly the kind of setup we love to play into.

 

 

Best Bets for Morphettville from Heath Pope 15/11/25 

Race 3 No.6 – Dampen $10.00

Shapes as one of the better value bets of the day at terrific early odds.

Was desperately unlucky last start when badly held up before flashing late once clear.

The rise to 1250m looks ideal, and from gate two, he can stalk the speed behind Whiskey Joe and get every possible run in transit.

With clear air at the right time, he’ll be right in the finish.

He should start much shorter. Rates $5.00.

Race 4 No.8 – Stratum Pride $61.00

A familiar face for followers, this mare has tested patience but also rewarded it with the occasional well-timed win.

She’s now third-up, ready to peak stepping up to 1550m and carries just 52.5kg after the claim.

With Nasho likely setting a genuine tempo up front, she’ll get the race shape to suit and can swoop late at massive odds.

She’s far better than her current quote. Rated around $8.00 in my book.

Race 6 No.8 – Talisay $ 7.50

We were on her last start and she had absolutely nothing go right.

Caught wide throughout and still managed to close off strongly in the fastest final 200m of the race.

Gets a jockey upgrade to Crowther, meets her rivals better at the weights, and gets a 3kg swing on favourite Guru Warrior.

Expecting sharp improvement with a softer run in transit this time.

Another strong each-way play at $5.00 or better.
